You cannot beat the location of this hostel.better views from the roof than the ramparts. Richard is so helpful, very knowledgeable. Our room was small but comfortable. I understand that they are working on a kitchen/ common area. The kitchen is very small and has about 4 places to sit when it is too cold to be on the rooftop. Most guests are on a budget and are cooking basic meals or are eating takeout. There was a lot of demand for kitchen space. I would return again, as the location is great, Richard is the hostels great asset and the other guests were very nice and interesting.

More of a guesthouse than a hostel. There were mostly private rooms and only one female hostel room. They mentioned they may experiment with opening a men's dorm soon. I highly recommend this guesthouse if you're looking for good local recommendations. Richard, at the front desk, is great and will help you figure out the most affordable ways to take buses and trains to all the tourist places!

I like the roof it’s really beautiful view I think it’s one of the highest building in the aria you can clearly see the Dome of the Rock, with its distinctive golden color, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

In general good experience. Location: In the center of Old city, convient, but a bit hard to find for the first time. View: Rooftop view is amazing!! Grab a morning coffee and sit to watch sunshine spreading on Jerusalem is magical. Service: People are nice and helpful. Very pleasant. Room: We had room 11, double bed with a private bathroom. The room is small but bed is very comfortable. However the bathroom seems quite old, with dark yellow stains in corners that seem nobody cares to remove.Sometimes the bathroom also has a rotten smell. It can be quite noisy with people talking, and church bells around. So highly recommend to bring ear plugs.
