רכבת ישראל ארגון ביזיוני שתמיד מאכזב את הנוסעים ולא עומד בזמנים. הארגון זקוק לריענון שורות משמעותי בדרגים של ההנהלה.

Some criticize the Israel Railways, I agree that there is a lot of truth that it is not very good. But the same people forget that she is very young and before the start of her operation, the main transport in the country was a bus. It's too early to compare it with the great and high-speed railways of the USA, Europe or Japan. Let's wait and see what she will become, especially since she still made trips to the North comfortable and hardly anyone wants to go by bus to Haifa and further to Tiberias by bus;)

Israel Trains are a disgrace. a) At any moment, everywhere, you may hear through the station megaphone, while waiting for a train, that it has been cancelled full point. b) during early morning, let's say between 7 to 9, most of the chances are your train will arrive late, if it has not been cancelled, and no chance you will find a seat. Cancellations happen even during the trip, then you will be asked to get down and wait for another train. Between train and the next one there is half an hour wait. c) The price of the ticket is abusive even had the service worked perfectly. The prices of food and drinks are airport level. No competition allowed. d) No check of people massively putting their feet (with or without shoes) over the train seats. No enforcement either of no smoking areas. Rules exist but no human control. e) Train speed but for express trains, is low. They hardly near that of Egged buses except for peak hours. f) No chance that in your first trips you will not be confused about how it works. There is no lack of English signs, there is absolute lack of intuitivity sense for signaling where to go, what to do, which exit (or how many are there) you should take at arrival station. This confusion factor affects even Israeli first timers. g) On Saturday night the service starts at 9 pm or later. h) As a standard each line will be suspended for a week, once each four months, for infrastructure works. The notice will be given some two weeks in advance. All these means that with the continuous expansion of the service a massive accident is impending.
