This was a very disappointing experience, mainly because of the service. It was my mother-in-law’s first visit to Israel, and we decided to take her to Mina Tomei. She and my husband ordered main courses. I accidentally ordered a starter, and once I realized the mistake, I asked the waiter to give me a couple of minutes to choose a main course instead. The waiter agreed, came back shortly after, and I placed my main course order. In the end, my family received their main dishes and finished eating, but my dish never arrived. When I asked about it, the waiter suggested that I take the dish “to go,” which was unacceptable, considering everyone else had already finished their meals. I asked to speak with the shift manager and explained the situation, mentioning that we were planning to order dessert and that it would have been a nice gesture for the restaurant to offer it complimentary, given that I never received my main dish. The manager responded rudely, saying that they had offered me takeaway and that “we are all human” and the waiter could make a mistake. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no sense of responsibility for a very poor dining experience. Because of the terrible service, we will never return to this restaurant and cannot recommend it to anyone.
