Jungle Jaffa Hostel

My partner and I stayed there in August 2024. The hostel itself is nice and affordable, the location is okay and very close to the Old city of Jaffa, thought it's located in a bit sketchy area near a stadium. We rented a room with a double bed, there was no window, but we had an air conditioner. The bathrooms were on our floor, also there was a nice kitchen and dining area. Everything was clean and tidy, looked quite pretty. The only problem we had was on the morning of the checkout: there was no one at the reception and we had to wait for over an hour to get our deposit back, which is very inconvenient because we planned to catch an early bus that morning and had to adjust our plans for the day. Overall I would say it is an OK place to stay, a very affordable one, but very relaxed and chill which is not always good

Good location close to Jaffa market, next to Bloomfield Arena and public transport all around. Quiet, spacious and staff very eatm, friendly and very helpful!

I am adding this review because your response was full of lies. --- 원래 리뷰 공식 홈페이지에서 예약하면 cvc 포함 카드 정보 입력하게 돼있는데, 그걸로 지네 마음대로 내 동의도 없이 결제함. 밥 먹고 있는데 숙박비 결제하라 해서 먹고 하겠다하니까 직원이 ㅇㅋ 함. 현금 결제 생각하고 있었는데 밥먹는 동안 지네가 알아서 예약시 입력했던 내 카드 정보로 결제해버림ㅎㅎ 현금 결제 할거였다고 말하니까, 카드 취소도 안해주고 이미 결제했다고 나몰라함.ㅎㅎ 나중에 보니까 카드 결제 금액이 첫날은 홈피 가격대로 77세켈받고, 둘째날은 80세켈 받음. 설명도 없이. 직원(봉사자)한테 문의하니까 자긴 모르는 일이라고 사장한테 물어보라함. 근데 사장 퇴근했다고 자기(봉사자)는 연락 못한다고 배째라함ㅎㅎㅎ 사장 번호 물어봐도 안 알려줌. 체크아웃 후라서, 왓츠업에 문의 해도 씹힘. 웃긴건 왓츠업 및 이메일 관리는 봉사자가 함ㅎㅎㅎ 경영진과 소통이 안되는 곳. 경영진은 내 카드 번호로 무단 결제만 하고 갔음ㅎㅎㅎ 리셉션 아침에는 아무도 없음; 청소하는 분이 따로 없고, 자윈봉사자가 청소하는 곳이라 위생은 별로임. 대충 쓱 청소하고 말더라. 부엌은 좋음. ----------- 추가 리뷰 I got so pissed off after reading your reply that I had to add more. When I booked through your official website, I only booked one night, so you were only allowed to charge my card for one night. According to your own system, my card should only have been charged for that one night, but you manually changed the amount and charged me for two nights. In other words, you’re saying you can charge any amount you want to my card. Also, my card doesn’t have any conversion fee. It can be charged directly in shekels. The amount you charged is the exact amount that gets processed on this card. When I checked in, the volunteer didn’t tell me to make any payment. You’re saying I ran away without paying? When you, the owner, came and told me to pay, I was literally sitting right in front of you eating my meal. While I was eating, you charged my card and then disappeared. You’re saying on the second day I checked out late? I checked out earlier than the reception opening time, and the volunteer had already returned my deposit the day before. What are you talking about? You’re saying the price difference between the first and second nights was weekday vs weekend pricing? When I checked your official website, the first night was 77 and the second night was also 77. The volunteer confirmed this as well. There is not a single truth in your response.

תתרחקו כל עוד אתם יכולים! עובדי הקבלה לא שירותיים בעליל שיקרו בלי בושה שאין מקום למרות שבאתרי ההזמנות היה מלא מקום. טענו שהמשתמש שלהם בקבלה ננעל ופתאום נפתח אחרי כמה דקות והחליטו שאין מקום. קיצר כל עוד אתם יכולים אל תתקרבו לשם!!!!!
