A well known pub at the Carmel center, which was renovated lately. After the renovation it has a modern look, and the music and atmosphere remains great. Note that this is not a quite place to have a talking get together with friends, since the music ivolume is high, but for a couple seating close to each other and enjoying the music it was great. There is a variety of food on the menu, a lot more than you would expect from a bar. The two plates of Artishok and Cauliflower as well as the two deserts were nice, but over priced. The cocktails are served with ice shaped as a bear, which is a nice touch.

Okay, the Bear is my go-to place to get a beer with friends if we want to talk. Love the place, but there's *Bear*ly any good food, when I go to a place called "the bear" I would assume I would get a filthy big portion of meat, instead I see them going towards something classy. The staff is great and friendly. Mostly street view, but since it's on a slope, it makes you feel like you are sitting somewhere relatively high up.
