We booked an apartment via Tellavista, great experience! Excellent web site (better than airbnb's - I mean it: check it out for yourselves), and great service: we had small change in plans and didn't know whom to reach out to for help, but the guys from Tellavista just took care of everything for us. First choice for me next time, for sure!

HORRIBLE, UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, SCHEMERS!!! My family of 15+ people reserved several apartments with this platform/group for a family wedding in tel-Aviv. As guests were arriving from all over the world, they CANCELED our reservation 2 days before the wedding. The owners were of ZERO help, and the alternatives they offered were disgusting and a major downgrade from what we were originally promised. After long back-and-forth we were 15+ people with babies, elderly people, a crying bride and baggage promenading the streets looking for a place to stay. We are now scattered through 5 different hotels. The owners are very obviously a scam and focus on boosting their own google reviews in whatever way. Stay away, you and your family don’t deserve to experience what we experienced !!!

That’s the email I got from Telavista after they canceled my reservation and tried to send me to a smaller apartment on the opposite side of the city. They downgraded us from a 3 and half room duplex with 2 baths by the port to an apartment on Allenby with 2 rooms and 1 baths which was half the size and that’s the replacement they had for me for 8 people 2 days before arrival in the peak of the season. I ended up paying double of what I was supposed to pay on hotels and they’re response was “it can happen to anyone “as you can see in the attached email. Also to mention that they put 12 positive reviews in less than 2 hours to even out the reviews that we put which were actually the truth. Dear Amir. You must understand that we are only the website - the apartment is not ours. Who cancelled the reservation was the owner, not us. We took responsibility by sending you options and returning the money, AND were willing to pay the difference for your alternative accommodation ( unfortunately you declined them all.) We understand that what the owner did is really unprofessional and bad, but still, its not our apartment and we don't have access to it. This situation doesn't happen a lot, but still, it can happen, and unfortunately, it happened to you. It can happen in every booking website out there. Again, we understand your trouble, but still, we tried helping you find a solution. The city is full, so we really did our best by contacting several owners to confirm availability and send you as option, but unfortunately, there were not too many options available. Regarding the apartment that you were interested in ( Padani ), we really contacted the owner and asked about availability, but unfortunately it wasn't available - it wasn't because of the price, since we were willing to pay the difference. ( his calendar was not updated over our website, but it doesn't mean it's not relevant ). We did offer you same standards apartments, but unfortunately, the location didn't suit you ( Shenkin, Neve Tzedek ). At that point, maybe you should have accepted the situation as it is, and accept at least one of the apartments as option, even as a temporary solution. Regarding the reviews, I'm just sad that it got to this... there are even lies coming from them...people that never used our website in their lives. But Ok, no problem. We have lots of happy costumers that knows us, and will continue using our website for sure. Amir, if you are considering splitting the group, please let me know, since we still have a solution that might help - suitable for 4 people only. My response Thanks for the email I will post it in full,all my family members are very upset!! My daughters don’t stop crying and my son that getting married in 3 days think that is a nightmare! Our family is split in 3 different places and you tell me that my reviews is not true, you guys put 12 positive reviews in one hour, I will post your and mine email in full and let your customers To decide who is right. Please don’t contact me any more Save all for court , I can guarantee you will be sued and all the money will go to charity, I really don’t need your money thanks god.

Stay away - these guys have no shame in booking you months in advance and then canceling you for a "higher paying" customer. We booked a reservation over 3 months ago - confirmed and reconfirmed and after traveling halfway around the world we were told that they were unable to accommodate us. We then needed to find a hotel for alot more money. Beware of these unethical untrustworthy slime balls as they only care about you if you are their highest bidder and reservations mean nothing to them. My entire family traveled to Israel for a wedding and this utterly almost destroyed the whole weekend. Shame on you - astalavista tellavista. You guys are fools screwing people in the age of the internet since we will inform the entire internet of what crooks you are. Good luck - you're going to need it to book another reservation after we get done with you for what you did
