Such a nice stay in spacious capsules. The manager was very friendly and kept me informed of everything before and during my stay. A new jacuzzi is coming soon. Location is fantastic and overall I can only highly recommed it.

On line it seemed nice, clean, private and big, very promising.... The reality was completely opposite!! I rented a "Capsule" That supposedly would give me more space and privacy instead of taking a bunk bed in a mix room with a bunch of coed strangers. I had requested earlier check in ✈️️arriving to Jerusalem between 10-11am to which the owner denied. at 12:30 the owner very warm, kept my luggage there while I killed time for 4 hours in the pouring rain wondering the city. At 3:10 I check in and to my dismay the so called capsules we're not what it looked like in the online pictures!!! I am a sailor and can handle sharing a small cabin in small quarters without a window in thechot Engine room with no problem, but this CAPSULE was WORSE!!! There was a small door, as I opened it there were on the wall 6 little tiny doors and as you open there lied only a mattress. no window, no ventilation, no view and certainly no space for more than 2 bodies to turn around. In there was a tiny and cramped, little bathroom. When I entered to pee for 3 minutes, it was saturated with bleach on the floor, and the fumes and smells were beyond overwhelming, toxic and hazardous for my health and the others. My eye started to shut down and water non stop I could not breath and was gasping for air, there was no ventilation and no windows, the doors were closed. Also the AC connections on the ceiling were so loud that it sounded like we were flying on a plane with the engine noise Non Stop. it was beyond uncomfortable! I spoke to the receptionist about these 2 issues and asked her to change me to an available bunk bed and a room where I could breath fresh air. She checked another private room, said I had to pay more and could give me a small discount but would need the owners approval and would text me later with his answer. From 3 pm to 10:30 pm ( i waited for her answer for7 hours) when I returned to the hostal I asked her why had she not answered me and said that the owner never responded and the private room would be for some one else! At 10:30 pm I asked her again to move me to another bunk bed, anything but the capsule( more like a "coffin") I also asked her for the bleach in the bathroom to be cleaned again and be removed She said she would check... From 10:30 pm to 12:00 midnight still no answer, no change, she didn't fix the problem. I told her to request to cancel my reservation since she could not accomodate me anywhere else and the toxic fumes and bleach were left untouched. At midnight I requested for her to cancel my reservation.shet said she could not cancel that late and Iwould have to talk to the owner in the morning and that this was a non refundable cancellation! At 10:30 there was another guest in front of me who had also complained to her that the room and the place was DECEIVING from the online pictures and HE LEFT the hostel unsatisfied to stay at a friend place instead. He turned in the keys to the receptionist. Now you had 2 unsatisfied guests and she did nothing! She only said, I can't do anything we are all booked for Christmas! Extremely disappointedaat the lack of empathy, lack of care and lack of customer service it was shocking!
