My wife bought a Chanukia on Wednesday, December 1. That evening, we discovered that the standard oil cups aren't stable in it, so on Thursday, December 2 she returned it. They refused to give her her money back. Instead, they took her receipt and gave her a credit slip. I returned on Friday, December 3, and contested this, but the clerk pointed to their story policy and lied that it doesn't allow getting a cash refund (their policy only excludes custom orders and some textiles from the 14 day cash return law). She had me speak on the phone to Sholom, who said (really, yelled over me) that since we don't have the receipt, we can't get the refund. He didn't care that the store has our receipt. He said I should call customer service. So I immediately called them, and the woman said they'd call me back on Sunday, December 5. They didn't. 😡 My interactions with them on December 3 are recorded.
