Out of town friends came to visit us and we planned to have a light lunch, shawarma at BBQ Mirage, but the long (as usual) line discouraged us. We consulted the expert (Gimini) and received a recommendation for an unknown (to us) restaurant located in a suburb of the village, off the usual tourist route. Driving through the village alleys was also an experience, traffic signs are not followed, traffic directions are determined according to the driver’s desire and along the shortest route to the destination, often contrary to the signs. Everyone is aware of the situation and with a little consideration everyone reaches their destination. The restaurant is in the Zahlouk neighborhood, very beautiful, trees all around. It really felt like a restaurant in Europe, in the Black Forest. The day we arrived, there were spectacular (real) flower arrangements on the tables - in preparation for the New Year's Eve event that took place the next day. Two couples - we ordered arais, shrimp in tomato sauce, a hamburger with fries, eggplant in tahini, humous and soft drinks. All dishes were very beautiful (instagram ready) and delicious. The price is very reasonable. The only comment I have - the drinks were served in cheap disposable cups, not appropriate.
