David Miro Souvenirs & Art Copper Works

Great store in Akko (Acre) with something for every price range. We came to this shop with our tour guide who shared with us that David Miro is a very talented artist working with silver and copper but also that his is one of the few Jewish businesses still remaining in the old city after the deadly targeted firebombings a few years ago. I wanted to support this family run business. We were so impressed with his beautiful work. He even hammered out a copper bracelet for me while I watched! So talented! I ended up buying 3 stunning silver and copper decorative plates. They shouldn't tarnish because there's a special lacquer finish over the silver. My theee sisters absolutely loved them! In addition to the pricier objects of art, there are also tons of regular, inexpensive souvenirs to bring home. I definitely recommend this sweet shop while you're walking around the Crusader sites in Akko.

Miro was at the shop so I could shortly met him, and honestly It is incredible the talent of this man.. Amazing everything inside 😊 I bought a few things there and are like a little treasure to me If you like art, go there
