Dream House Haifa

A last minute decision to take a break away weekend saw us heading to Haifa. We managed to find a place to stay for 2 evenings being "Dream House". Well unfortunately not the greatest accommodation experience we've ever had. When booking we requested a double bed and a single bed. The room we got had 3 single beds, 2 pushed up against each other (this left a nasty gap between the mattresses.) There was nowhere to hang anything in the room, not even our wet towels. Information supplied on the booking site stated that there is a washing machine and tumble dryer available but on arrival we received a welcome message in it requesting that we do not use these machines. Although on the site it stays there is parking, in reality there is very limited street parking 90% of which you will have to pay for. (Blue & White markings) The remote for the TV in the room did not work. There is no air-conditioning in the main living area, only in the rooms which makes it rather stuffy and hot. The sofa is broken in the middle so it sags. (We have been told they are in the process of fixing it) Other than that, the place was clean and tidy and is a good enough option if all you need is a place to sleep for a few hours.

Комната противная. Клопов не было, как в остальных отзывах, но глядя на абсолютно каждый элемент гостиницы, создается полное ощущение, что владельцу плевать на внешний вид и удобства посетителей. В общей ванной неприятно находиться, элементарной подставки под шампунь нет. Стены в плесени, дверь гремит всю ночь, подушки неудобные. За те же деньги в Хайфе можно купить найти отель на порядок лучше

Worst experience I have had so far with accommodations. We arrived at the hostel, the room had not been cleaned yet, which did not bother us much. But then we saw several live and dead bed bugs all over the room. We phoned the owners and described the situation and that we wanted to cancel. They accused us of lying. After they realized that we were in the room before the cleaning lady, they relented agreed that we could cancel. We did. But we did not get any money back and now they are playing dumb. I have never experienced anything like this. I would avoid the hostel at all costs. Criminal. We booked than another Hostel „Hostel Roks“ next to the „Dream House Hostel“ lol. It was very clean and the guys were friendly.

Don’t go there! Like the comments below - there were bedbugs! We wanted to cancel on our arrival, but the host didn’t payed us our money back! Maybe because they already know about the problem!

Hello, We stayed with two friends in a three beds room, the 04/02/23. General state of the room and facilities was clean However we woke up in the morning with itching. Looking under the sheet, we discovered bedbugs and blood dots (mark of bug bitting). The itching increased drastically within the end of the day, because of reaction. Looking at Google comment, we realized someone complained 3 weeks before us about the same problem. We contacted the owner within the 48 hours to let him know about this issue, with photos and videos to prove the veracity of our claim. Based on the general good state of the facility, i guess and hope this is a recent and isolated event, that we be taken in consideration very seriously.
