My family ordered food from Naomi Catering for Pesach. Everything was simply delicious, from the salads through the main courses to the desserts. It was all delivered in appropriate containers, well marked, ready to heat. What else can you ask for?? 5.5 stars from me!

The food is not reliable. Sometimes good and sometimes terrible. I will no longer use them. Today my order of 6 portions of meat strudel arrived with just 5 pasty buns when I queried it I was told that it goes by weight. Not sure how to divide 5 buns for 6 diners. . That made my decision because I have been a customer for many years and this is not how to be served. Since writing this I have had the 6th Strudel delivered plus a complimentary cake. Very nice but I could have done without the headache of it

Good food does not make up for awful, under par service. I ordered food to be delivered on Thursday evening, between 15:30 and 19:00, Seder night being Saturday night, hence basically the evening before the holiday’s eve. It was not the first time, although after a hiatus of a few years. When the food did not arrive, we phoned and were informed that the food would arrive by 21:30, because of “problem with drivers” ( the food arrives by taxi so one wonders what kind of problem might that be). By 21:15, I phoned to be told that the food would “almost certainly 100%” arrive by 21:30. Nothing arrived. By 21:30 nobody was answering phone calls and we were left rather frantic, with a Seder to host and part of the food not there and no time to replace it. Nobody cared to update us on what was going on, thereby leaving me trying to find other phone numbers, accidentally waking up another caterer named Naomi . Eventually, a taxi driver rang with our food at 22:45. When we asked what had happened, he said he had no idea, and he was told to make the delivery at 21:45 - and he sounded sincere. The day after, again after nobody cared to phone , I phoned the office to be told “the phone’s battery had run off” (??), “we had a problem with the driver” ( right, one cannot find a taxi driver for a city drive at a pinch) and a very curt and rude “ I already told you I am sorry, I have work to do (as if I did not ) I do not want to hear your speeches” (???). I understand this company takes your top dollar to provide what they claim is outstanding culinary and travel experiences. Since this apparently means that when something goes wrong you are left alone and you have to run after them and getting told off with no one assuming responsibility, I will not ordering from them food again and I will definitely not be trusting them with my hard earned vacations.

For the first time ever we ordered food for the whole of Pesach through Naomi Catering. It exceeded our expectations! All the food was absolutely delicious and good-sized portions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this catering service to anyone. BTW, the chocolate mousse and the lemon meringue pie deserve a special mention!!!
