⭐️ Magical Zodiac Fountain & Old Jaffa Walk A Must See Spot in Kedumim Square I always enjoy visiting the Zodiac Fountain whenever I’m in Old Jaffa, especially when we stop for a meal at the Greek restaurant Kalamata, which is located just a few steps away. This whole area around Kedumim Square is full of life — restaurants, cafés, ice cream shops, small galleries, and beautiful viewpoints overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It’s one of those places where you can easily spend an hour without realizing how quickly time passes. The fountain itself is beautifully designed, with handcrafted zodiac figures set around a bright blue pool. It’s a fun and photogenic spot, especially on a clear sunny day when the colors pop and the whole square feels vibrant. It’s also a great place for families, couples, and anyone who enjoys walking through historic streets with a relaxed atmosphere. One of the best things here is the easy access to the Old Jaffa alleys. Right next to the fountain you’ll find several stairways and narrow stone paths that lead you directly down toward the ancient port. The walk is short, scenic, and packed with character — old stone walls, small doorways, art signs, and quiet corners perfect for photos. There are also clean public restrooms nearby, which is always a plus when exploring. If you’re already here, I highly recommend strolling through the neighborhood before or after visiting the fountain, and definitely don’t miss eating at Kalamata. Their food is excellent and the view from the restaurant balcony is one of the nicest in Jaffa. A beautiful spot, day or night — highly recommended.
