My wife and I stumbled upon a coffee shop that seemed like a cozy place to spend the evening. As we walked in, we noticed that the tables were dirty and unattended. The only staff member present was a young woman who was constantly on the phone, completely oblivious to us. We stood there for a few minutes, waiting to be served, until a fellow employee stepped out from the kitchen to take our order. The woman on the phone had already started making our coffees, but our server was clueless to the fact that we had two different orders. One for me with decaf and a specific type of milk, and another for my wife with regular caffeine and a different milk. The poor guy had no idea what he was doing and the coffee turned out to be a complete disaster. It tasted like hogwash, and the baked goods were just as bad. It was clear that this place had no regard for its customers or the quality of its products. The management clearly hired cheap employees with no training and didn't care as long as people were coming in. We couldn't help but wonder how many other unsuspecting customers had fallen victim to this trap. We couldn't finished our terrible coffee and left, vowing never to return to that sorry excuse for a coffee shop.
