Not your father's beit haknesset, not a cookie-cutter O shul. Heichal Shalom reminds us of the comfort of the chaburah in New England. Nushach? Nusach du jour depending on the mood of the tefilla leader. No paid staff, no rabbi, just warm, happy friendly, huggy, back-slappy folks. Loads of children and young people as well as the more mature. Learning opportunities delivered by lay as well as pros.
