The view from the terrace is fantastic. The room has everything you need, the small kitchen is outside. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The host (his name is Marc) is a gentleman and a very hospitable person.

Kleines Paradies mit Blick auf die Wueste, das Tote Meer im Hintergrund und die Jordanischen Berge Das Nof Apartment liegt auf einer Anhoehe mit wunderschoenem Blick auf die Wueste und die Berge Jordaniens im Hintergrund. Es gibt vier Zimmer,davon ein grosses Doppelzimmer , ein kleineres Doppelzimmer, zwei grosse Doppelzimmer und ein kleines aber feines Einzelzimmer. Alle Zimmer haben getrennte Betten.Das kleine Doppelzimmer und dass Einzelzimmer ( leider wohl versehentlich als 1 Bed-Room Apartment gelistet) teilen sich eine einfache Outdoor-Kueche mit allem was man braucht, die anderen zwei Zimmer teilen sich ebenfalls eine Gemeinschaftskueche. Es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist einmalig, abends heulen gelegentlich die Schakale die teilweise bis in die Naehe des Hauses kommen aber harmlos sind oder es kommt ein Fuchs zu besuch Es ist alles einfach aber sauber und zweckmaessig. Wer keine grossen Ansprueche hat ist hier genau richtig !! Es gibt sogar ein etwas groeseres Whirlpool und einen Grill im Garten den man benutzen kann. Mark und seine Frau sind eine Perle der Gastfreundschaft und helfen gerne weiter. Mark spricht Russisch, Jiddisch und einen guten Deutsch-mix,versteht aber alles auf Deutsch.Seine Frau spricht einfaches aber doch recht gutes English so dass die Kommunikation absolut kein Problem ist. Die Uebernachtungspreise sind unschlagbar im Vergleich zu Ein Bokek und Ein Gedi und mit dem Auto sind es nur knapp 25 Minuten bis zum Toten Meer bzw. Ein Bokek. Ich war diesmal ohne Auto unterwegs was auch kein Problem war. Es fahren taeglich regelmaessig Busse von Arad nach Ein Bokek und wieder zurueck, die Monatskarte kostet nur 99 Schekel fuer einen Radius bis 40 km, einfach unschlagbar. Die Einzelfahrt kostet 12 Schekel pro Strecke, auch o.k.. Von der Busstation sind es etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuss bis zur Unterkunft (ohne Gepaeck), ein Taxi kostet etwa 25 Schekel. Allerdings gibt es auch eine Bushaltestelle nur 2 Minuten enfernt von der Unterkunft die auch zum Busbahnhof faehrt, ich bin allerdings immer gelaufen. There are four rooms, including a large double room, a smaller double room, two large double rooms and a small but nice single room. All rooms have separate beds. The small double room and the single room (unfortunately accidentally listed as a 1 bed room apartment) share a simple outdoor kitchen with everything you need, the other two rooms also share a communal kitchen. There is also a washing machine. The view from the terrace is unique, in the evening the jackals howl occasionally, some of which come close to the house but are harmless, or a fox comes to visit at times. Everything is simple but clean and functional. If you don't have high expectations, this is the place for you! There is even a slightly larger jacuzzi and a BBQ in the garden that you can use. Mark and his wife are a pearl of hospitality and happy to help. Mark speaks Russian, Yiddish and a good mix of German, but understands everything in German. His wife speaks basic but quite good English so that communication is absolutely no problem. The overnight prices are unbeatable compared to Ein Bokek and Ein Gedi and it is only 25 minutes by car to the Dead Sea or Ein Bokek. This time I was traveling without a car, which wasn't a problem. There are regular daily buses from Arad to Ein Bokek and back again, the monthly ticket costs only 99 shekels for a radius of up to 40 km, simply unbeatable. The single ride costs 12 shekels one way, which is also ok. From the bus station it is about a 20-minute walk to the accommodation (without luggage), a taxi costs about 25 shekels. However, there is also a bus stop just 2 minutes away from the accommodation that also goes to the bus station, although I always walked.
