A great accommodation in the middle of an oasis. Beautiful!

Beware: this is NOT a 2BR apartment and is NOT a B&B. The good: It's a humble flat, tidy and clean, if a bit dated. The double bed was comfortable. Sofa bed so-so. Kitchen had adequate dishes, cooking pots, etc. It's located in a kibbutz with a botanical garden. Has access to the hotel swimming pool. Five minute drive to En Gedi reserve. Host greeted us cheerfully, showed us the property and his reserved parking space. There were a couple of Ibex in the kibbutz. The bad: When we saw the place our jaws dropped from disappointment. It has a small cooking area, bathroom and a living room with a divider partition to make a "bedroom". The divider doesn't go up to the ceiling or have a door. The bed in the "bedroom" is against one wall and less than 2 feet of space on the other side and at the foot. No way should this be advertised as a 2 BR apt. It's also NOT a BnB - no breakfast was included. The sq footage listed must include the 90 sq ft entry balcony, because there is no way this is a 386 sq ft apartment. 2. The A/C was very noisy, which constantly interrupted our sleep. The next night we stayed in the Hi Masada youth hostel in a private ensuite room for four which was much nicer, cheaper and quieter.

צימר באווירה ביתית ממש , בעל הצימר מקסים ואדיב ! נהנו מכל רגע . המיקום מעולה . קרוב מאוד לנחל דוד הנפלא . בוודאי שנגיע שוב .
