The Protestant Cemetery on Mount Zion can only be accessed via the front gate of Jerusalem University College. They hold the key to the back iron gate fence. To access the cemetery, ring the bell and request access. The Protestant Cemetery has a wide range of people buried here from British soldier from the Mandate, as well as, victims of the King David Hotel bombing of 1946. A few of the more notable people are: Sir Flinders Petrie an famous Egyptologist, Horatio Spafford. one of the founders of the American Colony and the writer of the world famous hymn, "It is well with my soul", and James Starkey an archeologist who excavated Lachish in the 1930s.

Everyone who commented about seeing Oskar Schindler's grave: You were not in the Protestant Cemetery. You were in the Catholic cemetery. Oskar Schindler was Catholic.

Definetly worthwile to seethe grave of Oscar Schindler, but the gates to the cemetery are closed at random times so don't count on it always being open
