So 2 couples stayed at this lovely apartment while we did our pilgrimage! There is a washer and dryer on site, which was a huge feature for us. There is a little kitchen which has a gas stove, fridge, microwave and a nespresso and frother! Lior, the owner, kindly hooked us up with coffee pods, and a litre of milk. It has 2 balconies, one is a sitting area and the other houses the washer and dryer and the lines for hanging your clothes. We had an issue with the shower, where the water flooded to the door (signs of this happening a lot with the rotting door). We appreciated how close the Baha’i gardens were (our pilgrimage with the Baha’i faith). The little variety store was also really convenient, has an ATM (credit card withdrawal only) and they speak English, which made our experience really good!! Air conditioning is efficient, as there is one in each bedroom, and dining area. There are stairs, quite a few, however when coming to Haifa, expect a lot of stairs… so we expected this. No elevator, so definitely not wheelchair/accessible, but we knew this. Very convenient location and our host was very accommodating, always available to answer questions! This is my reason for giving 4 stars! If you are looking to party, or looking for a shiny looking place to stay, I’m afraid this is not the spot! When she calls it “charming” it truly is for the neighbourhood!
