The Qataneen market is located to the west of the Al-Aqsa Mosque wall, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem. It was established by Prince Saif al-Din Tankz al-Nasiri in the year 1336 AD, and at that time he was the deputy of the Levant and one of the senior officials of the Mamluk state. يقع سوق القطانين إلى الغرب من جدار المسجد الأقصى، في البلدة القديمة من مدينة القدس المحتلة. وقد أنشأه الأميرِ سيف الدين تَنكز الناصري في سنة 1336 ميلادية، وكان حينها نائب الشام وأحد كبار الدولة المملوكية. نعرج في هذا الفيلم، ضمن سلسلة معالم القدس، على تاريخ السوق وأبرز ما يميزه، والحال الذي وصل إليه تحت سيطرة الاحتلال.
